The company nextdrop implemented an advanced water management system at SIT Plzeň, focusing on two key areas:
During the night of July 22–23, the system detected excessive water flow in one of the buildings and immediately alerted the administrator. Since there was no response, the system automatically shut off the water supply after one hour.
As a result, only 240 liters of water were lost. Without the active protection system, up to 2,160 liters of water could have been lost before the first worker arrived. Since the leak occurred in a remote part of the building, it might have remained undetected even longer. Each additional hour of flow would have resulted in another 240 liters of water lost.
The SIT Plzeň project demonstrates nextdrop’s ability to deliver sustainable and efficient water management solutions. This example highlights how modern technology contributes not only to resource conservation but also to significant operational savings.
